Hello and thanks for checking out my blog.
My name is Graeme White. I’m 24, I live in Edinburgh and I’m currently doing a PhD in earthquake engineering at Heriot-Watt University. I originally come from St. Combs, a small village on the north east of Aberdeenshire. I lived there for 18 years, but in 2004 I moved to Edinburgh when I decided to study structural engineering at Heriot-Watt University. I completed this course in 2009 and achieved a 2.1 masters degree.
As for myself, I’m a laid back, easy going guy with a positive outlook on life, or at least that’s how people have described me. I like watching movies, listening to music, gaming, technology, science, photography and time-lapse videos. Whilst I may not have advanced skills in photography, I take photos every now and then. I’m also quite philosophical and ponder about life’s mysteries as well as things about the past, present and future.
So, what kind of updates can you expect from me? Well, anything really – things going on in my life, stuff from the past, reviews of movies, games, music, stuff I like, ideas and possibly even the PhD I’m working on. We’ll see how it goes, eh?
